$12 cocktails, $7 beers, $5 flasks of punch $10 Snacks

6-9PM in the main bar area.
Think jam session on the front porch. Blues, bluegrass, folk, jazz, soul and country from some great local artists.
There is no cover charge and that's a promise!
Want live music at your private event? We can make that happen too.
DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?
Sure do! (We see you Virgos and Type-A's...) There's a few different ways you can reserve your seat:
Groups of 1-6: join the waitlist day-of. Just add your information and we'll shoot you a text when your table is ready (usually about 15-30 mins). The waitlist is active after 3PM when we open.
Groups of 6-10: book a reservation any time, up to 28 days in advance.
Groups of 10+: contact our team of real live events humans to work this out for you, easy peasy.

Come on over! Any party, any size - we'll make room for ya.
WHERE IS PORCHLIGHT LOCATED?
Porchlight is on the corner of 11th Avenue and 28th Street in West Chelsea, Manhattan. We’re a neighborhood cocktail bar with easy access to Hudson Yards, The High Line, Chelsea Piers, and the Javits Center.
IS PORCHLIGHT NEAR THE HIGHLINE?
Yes—we’re only a couple blocks from the northern entrance at 30th Street. If you’re planning a walk through the park, Porchlight makes a great starting point for a refreshing cocktail or an ending spot to relax after taking in the skyline views.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO PORCHLIGHT?
The C and E trains to 23rd Street or the 7 train to Hudson Yards are the closest subway options. From there, it’s just a few minutes on foot. If you’re arriving by car, taxi, or rideshare, “11th Avenue and 28th Street” will get you right to our front door.
ARE YOU CLOSE TO HUDSON YARDS?
We are! Hudson Yards is less than a 10-minute walk away. Whether you’re exploring The Vessel, browsing The Shops, or catching a performance at The Shed, Porchlight is one of the best bars near Hudson Yards for a pre-event cocktail or a laid-back nightcap.
ARE YOU CLOSE TO THE CHELSEA ART GALLERIES?
Absolutely. Porchlight is in the heart of the Chelsea gallery district. After wandering through the neighborhood’s contemporary art spaces, our cocktails and small plates are a great way to round out your evening.
HOW FAR IS PORCHLIGHT FROM THE JAVITS CENTER?
Roughly a 10-minute walk. If you’re in town for a convention or trade show, Porchlight is a local favorite bar near the Javits Center where you can take a break from the bustle with craft cocktails and hearty snacks.
IS PORCHLIGHT NEAR CHELSEA PIERS?
Yes—Chelsea Piers is right down the street. Whether you’ve been golfing, skating, bowling, or working out, Porchlight is an easygoing spot to grab drinks and unwind afterward.
SHOULD I COME BEFORE/AFTER GAMES AND CONCERTS?
Definitely. We’re within walking distance of Madison Square Garden, Pier 57, and several other NYC concert venues. Porchlight is a relaxed alternative to the crowds, perfect for meeting up before a show or toasting the night after. Plus the kitchen is open late if you have the munchies :P
DO YOU HAVE OUTDOOR SEATING?
We do! Our patio seating is ideal for a sunny afternoon drink or a summer evening cocktail before heading to explore the Chelsea and Hudson Yards neighborhoods.
DO YOU TAKE LARGER GROUPS?
Yes! Birthday parties, Engagement parties, Happy Hour with colleagues, corporate events....the list goes on. You can walk in with a big group any time or directly book a table for up to 10 people.
